This project acted as a test run for my senior thesis project, Case Study: Personal Branding in Graphic Design. I created a package design for a pair of headphones tailored towards only one person, that person being Tyler Glynn, an aspiring arena rock star. Essentially, I narrowed down the demographics and psychographics to an individual. Therefore, the package of the headphones does not have much information on it; this is because the focus of this project is on the brand book and how I can tailor a design to one person only. No one else matters in the equation.
I used this to jumpstart my senior thesis on personal branding in graphic design, in which Tyler continued to be one of my participants. This allowed me to see where to push my concept even further (for example, instead of arbitrarily designing a pair of headphones, I would make my designs with the purpose of helping someone get employed) and where to reign back (adding more specifics from a design perspective).
